​COMNET Systems has been awarded Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS) for the new Commission of Audit (COA) Building at Quezon City. ​

​The Commission on Audit (COA) of the Philippines functions as the supreme auditing body for the government, examining and settling all accounts related to the use of public funds and property. Its key functions include conducting financial, compliance, and performance audits of government agencies, government-owned and controlled corporations, and local government units.​

FDAS, has four main functions: detecting fire through sensors like smoke detectors, alerting occupants and authorities via audible and visual alarms, monitoring the environment for abnormalities and system status, and controlling other connected systems, such as suppression systems or voice evacuation. These functions are performed by a network of devices, like sensors and control panels, to safeguard lives and property by providing early warning and enabling a fast response. ​
